Preliminary policy
This is a preliminary policy, written to reflect what trove24 actually does today. It has not yet been reviewed by legal counsel and will be reviewed and updated before public launch.
trove24 is an online marketplace that connects people in Kosovo who want to buy and sell secondhand items. trove24 is not a party to any transaction between users. We do not buy, sell, own, inspect, authenticate, or take possession of any item listed on the platform, and we do not process payments. Payment and delivery or pickup are arranged directly between the buyer and seller, outside the app.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. The information you give us (your email, display name, and any profile photo) must be accurate. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, so keep your login credentials to yourself.
If you sell on trove24, you must only list items you actually own and have the right to sell, and describe their condition honestly, including any flaws, using real photos of the actual item. If you buy on trove24, you are responsible for reviewing a listing's photos, description, and condition before reserving or agreeing to purchase it.
Reserving an item is a good-faith signal that you intend to buy it. It is an agreement between you and the seller, not a contract that trove24 enforces or guarantees.
You may not use trove24 to list or engage in any of the following:
We may remove listings and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, at our discretion, with or without prior notice depending on severity.
Some things get an account removed straight away, without a warning and without a discussion: harassment, threats, sexual content, hate speech, and anything targeting a person for who they are. This covers listings, reviews, display names, and messages sent to other people. There is no version of this we treat as a first offence.
We screen text that gets posted publicly and we act on what people report. We do not read private messages, so if someone is treating you badly in a conversation, we will not know unless you tell us. You can block them, which stops them contacting you and does not notify them, and you can report them. You do not need to have bought or sold anything to report someone.
Reports are read by a person. If you report someone, tell us what actually happened in your own words, because that is what we have to work with.
trove24 helps you find items and communicate with buyers and sellers through in-app messaging. We do not handle, hold, or guarantee any payment. Under the current model, buyers and sellers arrange payment themselves, for example cash on delivery or a direct bank transfer, and trove24 has no visibility into or responsibility for how that exchange happens. We do not mediate payment disputes and cannot guarantee that any transaction will be completed, that an item matches its description, or that either party will follow through.
Reviews must reflect a genuine transaction and your honest experience. Fake, retaliatory, or purchased reviews are not allowed and may be removed.
If you see a listing or seller that violates these terms, you can report it directly from the listing or seller profile, or contact us. We review reports and take action at our discretion, which may include removing content, restricting an account's ability to sell or message, or terminating an account.
You may stop using trove24 at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for violating these terms, misuse of the platform, or repeated, substantiated reports from other users.
trove24 is provided as is, without warranty that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, trove24 is not liable for any dispute, loss, or damage arising from a transaction, communication, or item exchanged between users, since we are not a party to those transactions.
We may update these terms as trove24 changes. We will update the date at the top of this page when we do. Continuing to use trove24 after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Kosovo. Any dispute arising from your use of trove24 is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Kosovo.
